Meet Arthur Lee Land.  Arthur is an incredibly talented musician.  His creative mind concocted the notion of pulling together West African drumming, bluegrass and folk rock to form an innovative genre of music he calls "Afro-Grass Folk Rock."   He has now added "Electro-Americana" to the mix which is featured on his latest album “Cracked Open."  One click into Arthur's educational outreach website and you can see the musical brilliance that is this man's gift to the world.  www.artoflivelooping.com.

As a child, Arthur joined the ranks of numerous artists who were labeled in school as "ADHD."  He unabashedly sings about this experience and his struggle for self-acceptance in his song, "Good Enough."  You can check out the video at the end of this post.

The mind of a creative genius is not linear.  It must force itself to be attentive to subjects that are not interesting.  It yearns to daydream and run free.  The body of the creative genius must move to stimulate the mind.  It is not disorder.  It is difference.  When used for good, it is beautiful.

The mind of the creative genius has given us the music, the dance and the innovations that stimulate our senses and enrich our lives.

To the creative geniuses of our past and to those of our future…thank you.
