We all want our children to grow up to be happy and healthy.  The greatest gift we can give them to that end is a spirit of gratitude.  A child who expresses gratitude on a daily basis learns to find the good within the bad.  They learn to think optimistically.  This prepares them for the storms of life that we all face.   A 20-year study published in 2007  by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health showed that an optimistic outlook toward life cuts coronary disease in half. Let this Thanksgiving Day kick-off a daily family tradition in which each person shares something they are grateful for at the end of each day.  This simple, but precious few minutes can turn a pessimistic viewpoint into an optimistic one.

It is in gratitude that I share this beautiful 5-minute video with you.  Happy Thanksgiving!
