We are both chuckling at the resemblance to behaviors we have seen in our home. But beyond the humor there is good teaching. It demonstrates the concept of remaining calm, no matter the reaction, and how to avoid escalation. I am going to keep referring to this as refresher training.

I had to quickly close my laptop at one point because Lil Punk Curry came up to see what I was laughing at and I can’t have her seeing my game plan! (Now I just have to worry about how it plays out when she tells Dad how “Mom was watching something on her computer and acted guilty when I came in the room and wouldn’t let me see what she was looking at!”)
