speaking from Australia, it is so soothing just to watch you speaking with what looks to be snow falling in the background. There is one more thing I’d like to add to your suggestions – and I have just watched you doing it for over 3 minutes!! Connect to the animals around you – your pets, rescued wildlife, companion animals, domestic animals – any animals you can get near to! Your stroking of that beautiful golden retriever was bringing my blood pressure down just experiencing it second hand. Sometimes connection with animals can be more meaningful than connections with other people. When there is really nothing to say, just tears of shock and horror to be shed, embracing a dog can be the best thing to do. It may take a while for feelings of hope to come back. Being quiet with an animal can help.
